Megamentin 625 mg is a broad spectrum antibiotic. Augmentin is used for bacterial sinusitis, otitis media, non-hospital pneumonia, cystitis, pyelonephritis, bronchitis, soft tissue infections, bacterial lesions of the skin, joints, bones, and dental infections. Megamentin 625 is contraindicated in allergies to penicillins, components of the drug, severe allergic reactions while taking other beta-lactams (cephalosporins, carbapenems, monobactams) in the past.
The antibacterial agent actively affects gram-positive, gram-negative and other microorganisms, causing their destruction. To enhance the health effect, it is recommended to take the drug before meals.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms susceptible to the drug: – infections of the upper respiratory tract and upper respiratory tract (including acute and chronic sinusitis, acute and chronic otitis media, pharyngeal abscess, tonsillitis, pharyngitis) – lower infections parts of the respiratory tract (including acute bronchitis with bacterial superinfection, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia); urinary tract infections; gynecological infections; infections of the skin and soft tissues, including human and animal bites; bone and connective tissue treatments; – biliary tract infections (cholecystitis, cholangitis); – odontogenic infections.
