PHARMACODYNAMICS OF ISOTRETINOIN Tretiva 20
Tretiva 20 mg – Remedy for the treatment of acne. It contributes to the normalization of the terminal differentiation of cells, inhibits the epithelial hyperproliferation of the excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands, the formation of detritus and facilitates its evacuation. Due to this, the production of sebum is reduced, its secretion is facilitated, the composition is normalized, the inflammatory reaction around the glands is reduced. When applied externally and systemically, it has antiseborrheic, sebiostatic, anti-inflammatory, kerato and immunomodulating effects; enhances the processes of regeneration in the skin.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
For oral and rectal use: severe forms of acne (nodular-cystic, conglobate, acne with the risk of scarring); acne, not amenable to other therapies.
For local use: common acne, seborrheic dermatitis, rosacea, perioral dermatitis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity, for oral and rectal use: pregnancy, established or planned (possibly teratogenic and embryotoxic effect), breastfeeding period, liver failure, hypervitaminosis A, severe hyperlipidemia, concomitant tetracycline therapy; for rectal use (optional): diseases of the rectum; for topical use: it is not recommended to apply over large areas of skin during pregnancy, breastfeeding and women planning pregnancy.
