Ekovir
Intravenous Ekovir 200 mg is administered to children over 12 years old (and adults), 3 times a day, 5 mg per 1 kg of body weight (administered every 8 hours). In the case of shingles in disorders of the immune system – enter the rate of 10 mg per 1 kg of body weight every 8 hours. Children from 3 months to 12 years old – enter 5 mg per 1 kg of body weight. In order to administer the drug intravenously, it is necessary to dissolve the contents of the ampoule in 10 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution and administer the drug slowly. You can enter Acyclovir drip, for which you need to dilute the resulting solution in an additional 50 ml of solvent. You can also dilute the contents of 2 vials in 100 ml of solvent.
Side effects:
The drug Ekovir is well tolerated.
Skin rashes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and increased fatigue are possible.
Contraindications:
